About SendFile
SendFile is a Windows-based utility for sending scripts
to Rainman via TCP/IP. The TCP Collector receives a
script and queues it for later processing by Rainman.
Thus, the response to SendFile only indicates whether
the script was received by the host or not.
When run, SendFile checks in a designated directory
for any files with an .RMP extension. (RMP files are
the output from the Rainman Grinder tool.) If the utility
finds one or more .RMP files, it connects to the specified
host and port using TCP/IP and sends the files. After
sending all the files, SendFile goes to sleep for a
configurable amount of time. At the end of this interval,
SendFile wakes up and starts the process again. SendFile
will also wake up and start the process if the user
presses the Connect Now button.
