Color and elite profiles are still very popular today, almost every
teenager with AOL has "elite" colors in their profile. Color profiles
started out as normal HTML codes used in profiles for font formatting and
background color, etc. Then, AOL saw the danger these "harmless" profile
codes presented when someone came up with the freezing profile code. AOL
killed most of the old html profile methods. Within a few days, brand new
profile codes were being born. Every day, new codes came to life.
When the codes were first being discovered, I got a hold of only a few
such as font color and background color. I wanted to change the font size
so I started playing with them (since HTML is so easy). I tried headings
"< h1>"and therefore discovered the first font size codes as well as
discovered the HyperLinks code. Today, there are loads of profile codes
available at freeprogz.com
