The Mac hax0rs used to hang out in various private rooms which they did
not make public to many of the pups and warez people. Red Ryder wanted to
know where the new room was but Meth wouldn't tell him without proving who
he was. Red Ryder was able to CRIS still because of the morphing exploit
and everyone was aware of this.
At the time CRIS supported a password view feature. The passwords for any
screen name could be looked up without reseting them. Ryder traded the
password to SteveCase for the name of the new private room. The Meth
signed on and went to various chat rooms sending out warez and bragging
about it.
